CHALLENGER 1 COMPETITION FOR BEGINNERS

For BEGINNERS we run the CHALLENGER 1 COMPETITION.

This is played with the Challenger One ball which is big enough, slow enough, soft enough and ideal for the beginner.

Because so many schools now take part in this competition once agaidn this year we will run 4 preliminaries and then the finals.

IMPORTANT – ONE-WALL COMPETITION

This year the BEGINNERS’ COMPETITION will be played on ONE-WALL courts rather than the 4 wall alleys we played in, in previous years.

PRELIMINARIES (4 preliminaries in the one day)

This year we intend to run the 4 PRELIMINARIES ON THE SAME DAY

THURSDAY 26^TH FEBRUARY 2015:

F Mountbellew

F Salthill

F Claregalway

FINALS: 

Winners from each of these preliminaries will play off against each other in the county finals

In SALTHILL ON SATURDAY 21^ST MARCH 2015.

THE CHALLENGER 2 COMPETITION (for EXPERIENCED PLAYERS.)

The CHALLENGER 2 COMPETITION competition is specifically for the more experienced players.

It is played with the smaller, faster and harder Challenger Two ball.

It is NOT suitable for beginners and it would be unfair to enter beginners in this competition.

This Challenger Two Competition will be played on the following dates :
